Warranty
Limited Warranty for Restaurant and Bar Furniture
Furniture in a bar works harder than furniture almost anywhere else. This page explains, without the legal fog, what our limited warranty covers and what it doesn't.
What the limited warranty covers
We warrant that the furniture we sell is free from defects when it's delivered to you. That covers defects in materials and workmanship that exist at delivery, such as a cracked weld, a split seat, a misdrilled base, or upholstery that's torn out of the box. The warranty applies to the original purchaser only and can't be transferred to someone who buys the furniture from you. It assumes normal commercial use: guests sitting, staff moving and stacking, and regular cleaning.
What it doesn't cover
- Misuse or abuse, including standing on chairs and stools or using them as ladders
- Pieces altered, cut, or refinished without our written approval
- Damage from harsh cleaners, missing maintenance, or ignoring the cleaning code on fabric
- Unfinished or unstained items, and components bought on their own
- The natural movement of solid wood, such as cracks or warping in butcher block and plank tops when humidity swings
- Indoor furniture used outdoors, and outdoor furniture left exposed without rinsing, covers, or winter storage
- Freight damage, which is handled through a carrier claim
- Normal wear like scuffed finishes, faded colors, and worn vinyl
Report problems fast
Inspect the shipment when it arrives. Shortages or defects should be reported to us in writing within three days of receiving the order. Hidden freight damage has its own deadline of 24 hours, covered on the freight and receiving page. The sooner we hear about a problem, the easier it is to fix.
How to make a claim
Email sales with your order details and a short description of the problem. Attach clear photos: the whole piece, a close-up of the defect, and any labels on the underside. Tell us how and where the piece is used. We may ask for the defective part to be sent back so it can be examined.
What we'll do about it
If the piece is defective under this warranty, we'll repair it, replace it, or credit you for its purchase price. Which remedy applies is our choice. The most we owe on any claim is that repair, replacement, or credit. Lost business, lost profit, and similar costs aren't covered. This limited warranty is the only warranty we give on the furniture, and it takes the place of any other promise, written or implied.
Habits that keep claims rare
Small routines prevent most of the problems a warranty can't fix. Follow the cleaning code on fabric seats, and wipe vinyl with mild soap and water instead of bleach. Touch up chips in powder coat before rust starts. Tighten loose screws on chairs and stools every few months. Keep solid wood tops away from heating vents and dry spills before they soak in.
